| This is nearly an instant hot breakfast. Serve with Apple Butter or PearGinger Sauce. |

Cinnamon raisin mochi or plain |

Cut mochi in half and cut these 2 sections in half lengthwise. |

To prevent sticking, use a pastry brush to coat the surface of the waffle iron with oil. Place one slice of mochi on the waffle iron. Cover and cook 1 to 2 minutes. The mochi will puff up and brown like a traditional waffle when done. Repeat with remaining mochi slices. |
